Meet Emily Murphy

Hi, I’m Emily, founder of Cheshire Digital Marketing.

Before starting CDM, I spent over a decade working in software, product, and digital strategy as a QA tester, project manager, product designer, and strategist. That background means I don’t just “do marketing.” I think about how systems, people, and goals actually work together.

I started CDM after watching too many small business owners get overwhelmed by advice that didn’t fit their real lives: post more, spend more, hustle harder. Most didn’t need more tactics—they needed clarity.

That’s what I do now: help business owners understand what actually matters, skip what doesn’t, and build marketing that fits their goals, capacity, and budget.

What Makes Marketing In [cdm_acf field="city_name"] Unique

People don’t just click—they call, visit, book, and ask their neighbors. That’s why local search, Google Business Profile, reviews, mobile-friendly sites, and simple booking flows matter more than flashy campaigns.

How We Work With Small Businesses

1. Understand your business, market, and capacity

2. Audit what you already have

3. Build a clear 90-Day plan

4. Implement in phases (based on budget and priority)

5. Measure what matters, explain it clearly, and adjust

No bloated retainers. No pressure. No mystery metrics.

Results That Matter.

[cdm_acf field="city_name"] Digital Marketing FAQs

Our ideal client is a small business owner who wants to grow but doesn’t want to guess their way there. Some come to us feeling overwhelmed and unsure what to do next. Others come in thinking they know exactly what they need because someone told them. In both cases, they’re open to stepping back, getting clarity, and building a smart plan before jumping into tactics.

Every business is different, and the way we work with each one is different too.

We take a holistic look at your entire business, including the parts that aren’t strictly “marketing”, to find where small changes can make growth smoother and more sustainable. That way, when things start working, you’re actually ready for them to work.

Instead of pushing a service, we focus on understanding your business, your goals, and your real constraints. Then we build a plan that fits your life and your business—not someone else’s playbook.

We usually start with a strategy session and growth plan. That gives you clarity on what to focus on next. This process also lets us start working together in a low-risk way—so we can make sure we’re a good fit for your business, and that you feel confident we’re the right partner for you.

From there, you can choose to:

  • Implement the plan yourself, or

  • Work with us for website design, marketing, or ongoing support

Strategy isn’t a separate thing: it guides everything that comes after.

  • Custom website design or re-design
  • SEO + Analytics Configurations
  • Lead Capture + Integrations
  • Strategic Page Structure + Funnel Planning
  • Custom Social Media Content Creation
  • Ongoing Social Media Presence
  • Paid Ad Campaign + Execution Strategy
  • Performance Tracking + Optimization
  • Newsletters + Blog Posting
  • 1:1 Strategy Sessions
  • Competitive Analysis Reports
  • Coaching for DIY Marketing
  • Accountability + Check-Ins

We know small businesses are all at different stages and budgets reflect that (we’re a small business too).

We’re not a “discount” version of digital marketing, but we do work within different budgets by adjusting scope and priorities. For example, if your website just needs updates, we won’t push you into a full rebuild. If you want to run ads, we don’t require huge minimum spends. We work with what you’re comfortable investing and help you spend it in the smartest way possible.

No two businesses look alike, and neither should their marketing plan (or their budget).

That being said, you should expect to spend a minimum of $500/month for ongoing digitial marketing services. Websites are priced as a flat rate based on the project and scope.

Current growth plan pricing is listed on that service page – we sometimes offer promotions on audits, so keep an eye on those pages!

Budgets vary based on goals and scope. We work with different budgets and build plans that make sense for your business stage.

We are located in West Chester, PA but we work with business across the United States.
